In 2008 the Nieuwe Maze, the representation vessel of the Port of Rotterdam, was taken to the dock for a mid-life retrofit. As part of this action a state of the art exhaust cleaning system including SCR and supporting Solfic burner system was successfully engineered and installed by Emitech Marine BV. The burner system offers full-flow automatic operation in a hostile environment and fluctuating counter pressures. |
